Khao Jed Yad, Trang Thailand

The Height from M.S.L. : 1,350 Meters

Location : Khao Jed Yad is one part of Ban Tad rang, which consists of thick forest and evergreen forest. Mountain range lay down from

north to South and covers area of many provinces such as Trang, Satun, Song Khla, Pattalung, etc.

Among those southern mountains that serve traveling purpose, Khao Jed Yad just become familiar and popular lately. Especially nature

education is very popular because Khao Jed Yad has many interesting species of trees.

The walking trip to khao Jed Yad starts at Ton Tae Waterfall. You have to walkm along the edge of a canal and pass through big forest for a

while. The first day of walking trip end at Namtok Ton Teh Stream.

In the next morning, you will continue your trip by walking to split point of water and tum left Yeaw Shang Waterfall.

After lunch, you have to walk for another 3 hours to conquer Khao Jed Yad. All the way to Khao Jed Yed, you will find only purity of forest, which include varieties of trees, wild animals, and birds. Then there will be a resting area in the middle of valley that is surrounded by seven

tops of mountain or Kho Jed Yad. All tops of mountain were covered by undersized forest that look like grassland. You will reach this point

in the evening. There is a small camping area and source of water, which is a stream that located 100 meters away from camping area.

If the weather is clear, a far away view will appear to your sight, especially the seven tops of mountain. The highest one is stand distinguishably and covered by thick firest. The other tops are covered by undersized forest and there is an evergreen forest in the valley ditch.

Khao Jed Yed forest of Ban Tad rang is the atural consummate souce of wildlife and wild orchids. And also has a very splendid view.

The 3-day-2-night period is appropriate.
